If I had Wings

This is a card set I made for a birthday gift. I love the saying "If only I had wings, I would be there with you." The butterflies are made using MS butterfly punch. The colors in the pattern paper determined the color palette. The card box is using the instructions on how to make a pizza box. You can find the instructions over at Splitcoast Stampers.

This is a binder clip Happy Birthday Turtle gift. Something different than giving a card. This little turtle is the beginning of a new line of digital stamps by Whimsie Doodles. To celebrate the arrival of the Whimsie Doodle line you can download it for free. The neat thing about digital images you can make them any size. The turtle was colored using copic markers. Check out Splitcoast Stampers gallery for more ideas using a binder clip.

File Folder Albumn

One of my favorite things about artists is how ingenious they are. Scrapbookers, stampers, and paper artists of all shapes and sizes have been stepping outside the box lately, and coming up with newer, cooler albums and mini books. One of the best things about using file folders is that they are readily accessible. This is a albumn I made using a basic file folder. Go over to Tayored Expressions to obtain the step-by-step instructions of this project.

Faux Leather Matchbook Post-It Note Holder

Today I have for you a matchbook Post-It™ Note Holder I made using the faux leather technique. This project was simple to do and makes for a quick gift for someone. I think if you used green pattern paper for the inside, green post-it notes and a large green eyelet this would make a nice St. Patrick's Day gift.

Faux Leather Technique:

  • Emboss black cardstock with the Mosaic Cuttlebug embossing folder.
  • Apply Versamark ink over the cardstock in areas.
  • Add clear embossing powder and heat.
The tutorial and video on how to make the matchbook can be found over on Splitcoast Stampers.

All Things Love

This Love photo cube was created out of a 2 x 2 square which my husband cut. Then I took the large paper clip and cut off the botton curve. The large paper clip was glued in small holes. This could be used year around.

This is a waterfall card I created using SU paper and the stamp called I {Heart} Hearts. You can find how to make this waterfall card at Splitcoast Stampers Website.

This is the waterfall card when you pull on the ribbon tab. It's is neat how the DSP makes a different impression instead of solid cardstock.

This is a card I made using a stamp from My Favorite Things. I loved how the red and chocolate looked on the card.
