Mr Roboto

Happy Tuesday!
This is a card I made using a digital image by 'Tiddly Inks.' The saying is from 'Create with TLC.' Over at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge this week, their theme was 'Out of this World' we were to open up our talents to outer space, extra-terrestrials, distant planets, spaceships and goodness knows what more! My thoughts is, Mr Roboto fits right in with the theme. Don't you?

You're the Root of My Happiness

Today's inspiration came from a challenge over at 'Crazy 4 Challenges.' We could pick whatever we wanted to be inspired by the photo and....HAVE FUN!! What inspired me was I noticed the polka dots in the bedspread and the curtains. They were very bright with a dark background. In my card, notice the pattern paper I used (bright/dark background). Also, noticed in the inspiration photo the mix/match of patterns. I also mixed and matched in my card design. The digital images I used are by "Create with TLC." What do you think?

Summer Treats

Does summer make you think of BBQ hamburgers and ice cream sandwiches? I hope so, because these cards were made with this in mind. The punched art hamburger card was cased from Dawn Griffin creativity from her YouTube video. I came up with the punched ice cream sandwich.

Ice Cream Sandwich Directions:
1. Using the SU small scallop oval, punch out two in dark chocolate cardstock.
2. Stamp the top of one of the small scallop oval using a splatter stamp and dark chocolate ink. This will give the appearance of dimples.
3. Using the SU small oval, punch out one in off white cardstock.
4. Layer the punched pieces.
5. Add Crystal Effects to the off white (ice cream) section of the punched art piece.
