Happy Holidays

I started this card from a store purchased card base. You can save money by picking up craft items at the end of the season. The main cardinal was embossed with silver and punched out using a 2 1/2" circle punch. I also wanted to carry the silver theme over onto the pattern paper by embossing the baroque stamp.

Wonderful Birthday

I created two cards with the same stamps. The first card is a one layer clean and simple card. The other card was layered onto white cardstock with added bling. Which one is your favorite?

This card above is a clean and simple layout ceated with the embossed resist technique. I sponged certainly celery and not quite navy inks. I added clear and white sequins.

This is the wow card. I used the same process as above but I added clear rhinstones and layered the inked piece on white cardstock.

Paper Wings

I came across this unique way to create angel wings. This creative person on Pinterest used paper plates to create a gorgeous set of wings. This would make a nice Christmas decoration.

Christmas 25

I have a Christmas bag to share with you. This bag was created from two pieces of 6 x 6 cardstock. Using a Scor-Pal will make this project easy to make.

To create the bag take one of your 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock and score at 1/2" & 3" on the long side. Turn the paper and score at 2 1/2" from the bottom. Next repeat the same directions to the other piece of cardstock. Adhere the two pieces together to create the bag.

I stamped the main image on kraft cardstock with dark brown ink. Sponged the edges with the ink. I stamped the #25 in brown ink on light green cardstock. I punched out the circle with a 1 3/4" circle punch. I added poinsetta stickers, pearls and silver tinsel for the handle.

Thank You

This is a clean and simple card. The main image was colored with Copics. I embossed the lower 2/3 of the card base with the stripes embossing folder. The main image was layered with the eyelet border punch. The leaves were created with a sizzix die.

Santa Gift Box

Today's project was created out of a 4 1/4" x 11" sheet of red cardstock. Fold the cardstock in half at the 5 1/2" mark. On the 4 1/4" side place a pencil mark at the 2 1/8". From the 2 1/8" mark score diagonal line to the outside 5 1/2" mark. Repeat all four sides. The scoring creates the triangle box. At the top with all points together punch a hole and add ribbon to keep it closed.

The next step is creating the punched Santa. I used SU puches to create Santa: 3/4" circle (hat), 2 3/4" scallop circle (Santa hat), large oval (face sponged with red ink),  2-bird wing (mustache), 1/2" circle (nose sponged in red ink), build a blossom-large petal (beard sponged in light blue ink). I added dazzling dimonds to all the white punch pieces. Finshing touch add a black button.

Challenges I participated in: 1) The Outlawz Twisted Thursday -anything goes with a button. 2) A-crafty-mess.blogspot - Anything goes 3)
