Here are a listing of some fun games going on all day ... like

"Show some love Challenge" Comment on the most photos and win a stamp set!

The 3 R's

My friend Jan shared how to make this card at our monthly stamp club. The two printed red and white strips pieces on this card is from a Kleenex box. So, I just had to submit this project over at Cute Card Thursday.

Challenge 118 - Reuse, Renew, Recycle!
This week they want to see our creations that feature something recycled, it can be ribbon from a box of chocolates, bits from old clothing, patch from a pair of jeans...have a rummage and see what you can come up with.

Here's another card my friend Jan taught us that night. Can you guess where the reused, renew, recycle on this card is from? Notice the green cage, this panel is from a strawberry box. How clever.......

Something Old Card Set

Here is a card set for over at PaperPlay challenges. They would like to see us use some of our old stash. Something we acquired a long time ago but didn't use - such as papers, embellishments, embossing powders/folders... etc.. I love how light blue and dark brown work together. The stamps are from Close to My Heart. Also if you think about it; paisley print has been around awhile as well.

Did you notice the embossing on the envelope?

So Very Cute

This week, over at Crazy 4 Challenges they want us to create a card/project using the COLOR COMBO provided below. If you don't have the exact colors simply use colors that are close to ones in the challenge. I exchanged the Light Purple for a Deep Wine.

This is a card I created using a digital images offered through Whimsy Stamps. I also submitted this for Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge #36 which was to use embossing somewhere on your project. I used a CB embossing folder to create the top layer of the card. I love the versatility of the embossing folders and wish more would come out. I loved how this turned out.
How often do you use a embossing folder on your projects?

Take the World

My project this week was made using a digital image created by Cheeky Radish designs. I don't design that many cards for men. I felt like the blue and orange would be manlly colors. The card layout is SCS 281. The tag says, "Take the World at your own pace" created by Create with TLC.

Directions for the tag: SU Wide oval punch, for the bottom, then SU Designer Label punch, middle, top piece SU Large oval punch.

How often do you make cards for men?
